One of the highlights of visiting Ulvshale Naturcenter is the chance to see the area’s wild horses. They roam freely through the coastal meadows, helping to manage the landscape naturally, and if you’re lucky, they’ll wander surprisingly close. Remember, these are free-roaming animals, not zoo animals. Keep a respectful distance, stay quiet, and let them decide if they want to come closer. We were fortunate enough to have them walk right past us—an unforgettable experience. The trails are easy to follow and suitable for most visitors, making this a great stop for families, photographers, and wildlife lovers alike. Bring binoculars or a camera with a zoom lens, wear comfortable walking shoes, and give yourself plenty of time. Nature doesn’t run on a schedule, but that’s part of the adventure.
