From this spot, you get a clear, unobstructed view of Ronneburg Castle, located roughly north of this point. With the right timing, you can capture a beautiful glow in the clouds behind the castle. I recommend using at least a 400mm lens and visiting on a cool day, as heat rising from the valley can cause atmospheric distortion and reduce image quality. It’s a short walk from the road. There is only a small parking area between the farm access road and the bike trail, so please leave plenty of room—the farmer uses very large equipment here.
