About this spot
A small riverside park for a picnic, a paddle or a change of scenery in Blanco. The park follows about a mile of the Blanco River, with fishing, swimming and trails, plus stonework built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s. Plan ahead: TPWD currently requires an advance day-use reservation. Listed admission is $5 per adult per day; children 12 and under enter free. Boats are limited to electric motors. Check current park alerts and river conditions before choosing a water activity. The pin marks TPWD's published park headquarters location at 101 Park Road 23, not a guaranteed swimming entry or boat launch. This is researched visitor information, not a personal visit or a claim that water conditions are safe today. Official information and reservations: https://tpwd.texas.gov/state-parks/blanco . Checked October 28, 2026.
